Robotics & Computer Science classes

Educational robotics has a central role at “CHRANIOTI” Educational Centers! Our experienced staff offers lessons for children from 4 years old. In our lessons, following specific topics, our students come into contact with the world of experiential learning S.T.E.A.M.

With robotics as a tool, students will understand in an experiential way topics:

• Physics
• Technology
• Maths
• Engineering
• Art

All these without thot in theory but in practice!

At the same time, the students are given the opportunity to develop skills of ingenuity, algorithmic & programming standards and demonstration of team spirit, and above all 21^st century skills.

• Critical Thinking: Critical thinking is, by definition, the practice of problem solving. This is important in the 21st century because it is more difficult than ever before to verify the validity of information (thanks in large part to the Internet). Critical thinking enables us to discover the truth in claims.
• Creativity: Creativity is the practice of thinking outside the box. This doesn’t mean that every person will become an artist or a writer. It means that they will be able to look at a problem from many perspectives – including those that others may not see.
• Collaboration: Collaboration is the practice of working with other people to achieve a common goal. Practicing collaboration and teamwork helps people understand how to deal with a problem. They are called upon to find solutions and decide the best course of action.
• Communication: Communication is the practice of conveying ideas quickly and clearly. In the age of dominance of written communication (email, social media, etc.) it is important that all people learn how to convey their thoughts in a way that others can understand them.

Computer Science – Programme “for kids”

At CHRANIOTI Educational Centers, in Nea Smirni and Ilioupoli, we offer a complete computer training programme for our students aged 6 to 11 years old. Children practice various subjects, gradually and smoothly become familiar with the mechanical equipment and technical characteristics of a computer and learn how to work with its various programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Internet).
