Writers such as Pushkin, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy and many others played an important role in the development of world literature. Russian ballet is famous all over the world. Great composers like Tchaikovsky are listened to all over the planet. Museums such as the Hermitage, the Russian Museum and the Tretyakov Gallery are known all over the world.
