At Chranioti Educational Centers in Nea Smirni and Ilioupoli, we know very well the difficulties that children face in studying their school subjects but also the importance of acquiring the right foundations for their later performance.

For us, the areas of supportive tutoring & creative daycare means much more than the simple preparation of the next day’s homework by the child. It means pushing, urging, striving for the best, creativity, success.

Elementary school classes

In our Supportive Tutoring classes and creative daycare for elementary school our student has the dominant role in the learning process. This combined with our experienced training staff and training material have contributed to its successful running over the years. Through our programme:

• We support & guide each of our students individually, so that they are prepared for the next day’s school homework.
• We provide solutions to all our questions ALWAYS in the presence of the special educator.
• We catch up and overcome our weaknesses through the special assessment system.
• Our performance is constantly improved with the help of our training material. This is how we deal with written exams successfully.
• When homework support is completed, we work with the “theory and exercises book”, solving additional tasks.

Results:

• Parents are informed daily about the child’s progress and the tasks they have done through the “communication notebook”, which the teachers fill out. Thus, parent-teacher communication is facilitated. In addition, parents have the opportunity to be informed in more detail at the monthly meetings with the Head of the Programme Teacher.
• We monitor every day the progress of each student with the special individual report cards where all subjects’ goals are set and improvement is recorded.
• We organize specialized seminars aimed at parents on pedagogical approach, psychology, learning difficulties, etc.
• Our experienced and specialized educators have prepared the “Theory and Exercise Books” for each class which include theory summary, comprehension questions, writing topics, methodology and additional exercises.

The children are preparing for the “NEW HIGH SCHOOL” and have the first and dominant role in the learning process.

Special Programme of Tutoring Courses for the 3rd year of Middle School

The student in the 3rd year of middle school is on the threshold of high school. This is the crucial year to fill gaps, enrich their vocabulary and expressive means of written speech, and be 100% ready for the new challenge that will contribute to his performance in the Panhellenic university entrance exams later.

In Chranioti Educational Centers’ Supportive Tutoring & creative daycare class for Middle school in Nea Smirni and Ilioupoli, we have designed an innovative program that provides tutorial-type teaching in the three (3) basic subjects: Ancient Greek, Modern Greek and Mathematics. Children are assessed and classified into homogeneous and small groups based on their level.

Students gain confidence and self-confidence, learn to respond and write well in tests and, by extension, in exams. Students’ Performance is thus continuously improved culminating in the complete achievement of their goal. With these guarantees, they are perfectly prepared to face the challenges of High School.
